Okay so my goal is one finish a month (not picky actually, I’d just be happy with 12 for the year) and I’m happy to say I’m counting this as my first, even if it is kindasortamaybe cheating since everything was done except the binding before Christmas.
This is a pattern I have done before, Garden Fence from Hyacinth Quilts. It is a really fun pattern. I auctioned this quilt to help raise money for a friend and the winning bidder chose the pattern and colour scheme. I’m happy I get to deliver it tomorrow night!
So here it is! I’m calling it Zoo Fence because of the crazy print on the back.

Label and binding – a dotted binding is second only to a stripy binding in my books:
This was a really fun way to kick of the year and already I’ve surpassed 2012 and I’m only 1 week in.

Darling quilt and congrats on your first finish of the year! (REALLY cute baby you have there too!!)
Awesome, and I’d count that as a finish, after all, you did the binding in 2013, no?
I LOVE the polka dots – super cute!
And I hope I get 12 finishes this year! But honestly I’d be happy with half of that, lol.
How’s the sewing room coming??
Exactly!
Room is coming along, I hope I can do an update this week.
Love the quilt! The colours are fantastic and this pattern is probably my fave.
It’s a great pattern hey? You should tackle it!
