I completed my March blocks for the Joy circle of do. Good Stitches last night. I’m not 100% happy with them. I thought the fabrics were okay but looking at them overall I’m not completely sold. I do love the novelty prints I used, I guess I’m just not sure they are perfect together. We’ll see how they look put together with everyone else’s blocks!

Your blocks are wonderful, Jaclyn! They will look fantastic once all the other blocks are with them.
I agree with Patti. I’m betting they look fine when they’re combined with the others. Right now, they probably seem like too much of a contrast between the saturated blues of the one and the navy/nearly white blue of the other… It’s a cute pattern. If they really bug you after a week (assuming you have one), try using a slightly darker yellow for the corners of your giraffe block. But honestly, they’re beautiful as is.
Thanks ladies. I hope they work with the other blocks. It’ll be a scrappy look, but scrappy can be awesome.
